Post Name – Junior Hindi Translator (Post Code: A)

Educational Qualification

  • Master’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at the degree level;

OR

  • Master’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi or English as the medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at the degree level;

OR

  • Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects, with one or both as the medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level;

AND

(2) Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State government offices, including Government of India undertaking

Experience

  • Knowledge at the level of matriculation of a recognized board or the equivalent of one of the languages other than Hindi mentioned in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.
  • Degree or diploma in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa from a recognized university.

Qualification & Experience

Ex-servicemen, JCOs in the Army, or equivalents in other paramilitary forces with five years of experience in the work of security. and good verbal communication in Hindi & English, and communication skills with knowledge of computers, modern firefighting, and watch and ward security monitoring systems.

    CSIR Reimbursement 2026—Selection Process

    Selection for this position is to be made on the basis of an open written competitive examination. There will be two papers, i.e., Paper I and Paper II. Paper-II will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks (to be determined by the Selection Committee) in Paper-I.

    1. MCQ-based written examination.
    2. Graduation Level / 12th Level Written Exam (As per the post).
