Why does the LPG cylinder price go high in India?
The Indian government has increased the LPG cylinder price. The major reason for this decision is the Middle East war because India depends heavily on LPG imports from their regions. This decision affects India a lot because lots of people and food businesses depend on LPG cylinders. People who cannot afford to refill the LPG cylinders will go back to wood or coal because refilling cylinders is expensive.

In previous years, under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, the government provided poor families who could not afford LPG cylinders with a subsidy. In recent years, subsidy amounts were reduced or stopped for many customers; this will affect many poor or middle-class people. Rural and semi-urban areas face the late delivery of cylinders.
